Este
es nuestro centro hermanado en Southbourne-Emsworth, Hampshire, en el
sur de Inglaterra. Es tierra de costa y pueblos pequeños y pintorescos
pero de gentes abiertas al mundo. Comenzamos nuestra andadura juntos
en 2005 y poco a poco hemos ido estrechando lazos, compartiendo proyectos
comunes y mirando al futuro con nuevas ideas para seguir trabajando.
This
is our twin school in Southbourne-Emsworth, Hampshire, in the south
of England. On the seashore, the area is full of small and picturesque
beautiful villages and people open to the world. We started our way
together in 2005 and we have walked closer by sharing projects and facing
the future with new ideas to carry out together.
Después de un
encuentro en España entre los dos institutos, una profesora del
IES Vasco de la Zarza se desplazó a Southbourne para conocer
el Bourne Community College y a los profesores del centro.
After a brief meeting
in Spain, a teacher from Vasco de la Zarza Secondary School travelled
to Southbourne to know Bourne Community College and meet its teaching
staff.
El pasado mayo de 2007,
los alumnos de 3º de ESO del programa bilingüe, acompañados
por dos profesores, se desplazaron a Southbourne para conocer a sus
"partners" al otro lado del mar y compartir sus clases y su
tiempo durante una semana.
Last May 2007 the students of the 3rd course of Secondary Education
travelled to Southbourne to meet their partners beyond the sea and share
their lessons and time for a week.
